WOMEN IN INDIAN STRUGGLE
Long back,
There was a time.
In the history of India,
When everywhere one heard only
noises…..
Cry for help….laugh of the
cruel….but
Soon the fog became clear…
The struggle started amongst the
Indians,
To be free…from the tyranny,
The role was played fair good,
By the women as well….
The pillars of the Indian
struggle
One could never forget,
The hardships faced by them…the women’s.
We know a few…but…there were
many.
Who fought for all…their motherland
The begum of Oudh, encouraged the
troops,
Leaving the luxurious life behind
Came to the battlefield…..
And Fought against the Britishers
Remembering Manikarnika - the
Rani Laxmibai…the grest warrior
Yes, she was the one …and only
one
Whom the enemies too admired
For her courage
Against the alien rule…
She fought till her last breath.
The great orator Sarojini Naidu
Her dedication for the freedom
struggle…
Was of immense value
Her patriotic poems inspired
many…
Laxmi sehgal was also one
Who like the men fought like a
tigeress
Like all of them, Kamla, Padmaja,
Swarup Rani,Vijay Laxmi Pandit
There were many who sacrificed
For their country
Yes for their, our and everyone
‘s country
And that is how India got
independence.
