Today is the best day

It all starts with the belief. Once we suppose some outcome and manifest our intentions towards achieving it that process of converting our thoughts into actions is called belief. It is hard to understand how things don't work out the way we wish because we presume that our thoughts are the best that can happen to us. Is it? 

When the wheels turn down the hill and slides into the unknown we cry for help or try to find a way. Life has taught me to not expect the extraordinary, to not let the emotions take the driver seat, to not melt on things which are devil in disguise because at times when the gold attracts the jeweler it is not always the pure one. Today is my birthday, the most awaited day of the year for me. People wish Merry Christmas and a happy new year but for me it's happy new year and happy birthday. 

Last year when the sun set down on the same day a thought came in my mind that the worse that could happen than this is that I fall sick on my special day and guess what some wishes do come true...I did fell sick on my birthday.

But there is more to the happy part of the story. All I wish on any birthday or festival is that one should have the love of their loved ones, be with your family and have good food. That wish was also fulfilled. All in all God plays his Trump card and leaves the decison in my hand to decide whether what happened was for the good or bad or it just saved me from worse. 

A year back I summarised my day in poem " Perfect day?" , This year I took an effort to write a bit more to remember that some plans are better not made. The beauty of life is unexpected occurences of serendipity. Let's respect the same and wish good luck to all. Live today happily because tomorrow is yet to come.
