something for which he was born

for his motherland,

for the people ,

stood straight in the hurdles

Sprouted the nationhood

the seeds of leadership

he became the

first leader of Indian independence movement

First and strongest of all advocates

he was one,

accepted by the people,

known for his noble thoughts

And the person

had enough guts

to crush the tyranny

and to have feelings of independence

which was still an irony

The truth was transparent

Britishers observed him as

the Father of unrest

but didn’t accept that

they had already ruined, thousands of nests

He organized a society

namely, Deccan Education

with his friends

to improve and enhance

Indian youth’s treads and trends

He emphasized on

cultural and religious revival

to bring independence and

to start from a new golden dawn

He took a marvelous step

to bring the unknown facts among the peoples

Started newspapers of his own

Kesari and Maratha

stressing on the glorious past

He wrote articles again and again

to unify people and reduce their sufferings and pain

The trio “Lal-Bal-Pal” ‘s dare

made people aware

to have their rights

that they should bear without fear

He devoted his work

for the upliftment of the women

in the society

to provide their due status with perks

To inspire  the citizens

he started the festivals

Ganesh Chaturthi & Shivaji jayanti

the people of which still are devotee

Passed the years

to have the eyes without tears

the path became clear

Idea of self rule with his stress

spread among the masses .

History terms him “The prime architect of modern India”,

as called by Gandhi too

The maker of modern India

Is the one,

who raised his voice

till his last breath

The son of scholar

who promised  till death

to unite the country at his best

Is none other than

Bal Gangadhar Tilak

Who took “Geeta” as a reference

to devote on his duty

and punish the intruders

to whom I salute

from the fathom of my heart

for his immense works and

his admirable adore to Nation.
